I have always found something compelling and almost spellbinding about the weaving together of natural materials & vines. I’m also very passionate about using materials I can grow and/or harvest myself when basket weaving as Nature provides not only the materials, but also the inspiration and sense of well-being, all of which coalesce into the creation of my woven pieces. I love to explore forms and push the boundaries of traditional functional forms into more imaginative objects of art. I believe a basket can hold more than just items, it can hold your attention and capture your imagination.
