J.Campbell Folk School Fall Festival Demonstration
Mark Hendry will be demonstrating 18th Century Broom-making in the Rock Room at the John C. Campbell Folk School's Fall Festival all day Saturday, October 5th. There will be examples of brooms, basketry and fiber arts produced by some of the classes taught at the Folk School, as well as an abundance of artists selling their handcrafted wares, great food and live entertainment! This 4-day class will cover all aspects of traditional, handcrafted Broom Making, from whisks to sweepers, all styles of brooms will be explored.
