WHISKED AWAY WEEKEND at JCCFS
Get whisked away for a whirlwind weekend crafting various historic Shaker, Appalachian & Asian style hand brooms. Join Max in the NC mountains of Brasstown at the renowned John Campbell Folk School for a focus on creative whisk broom styles. Students will create several functional & decorative whisk designs, using color and varying construction styles taking home a cache of whisks, along with the know-how to create more on their own. As well as being very satisfying to make, these highly useful & beautiful gems of the sweeper world put the fun in functional & make fantastic gifts. All class tools and materials are supplied by instructor. All levels welcome.
Some hand & upper body strength required.
