SETTING THE STAGE
Located in the breathtaking foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the beauty of Nature abounds and surrounds me. Here at Mountain Heritage Handcraft, I am exposed to a host of historic hand craftsmanship and a rich history of native traditions that inspire and lend their techniques to the organic artist in anyone touched by the connection to the past and being immersed in the present.
My work is sometimes sculptural, sometimes functional, original in design and ideally, an amalgamation of all the aforementioned: all art originating from and inspired by Mother Nature’s bountiful palette.
Whether in my creations, or through my teaching, my instinctive approach flows from mind, heart & soul through my hands, words & deeds, putting positive energy out into the world with the belief that it will inspire balance and a deeper appreciation of life, nature and each other.
